|Welcome to St Mary Magdalene|
East Ham's old Parish Church is a building of immense archaeological interest. It stands in solemn grandeur amid the rush and turmoil of modern life, as a silent witness to the stability and continuity of our faith founded two thousand years ago.
It is the oldest Norman church in London that is still in weekly use and has a 9½ acre churchyard which is now managed as a nature reserve by the London Borough of Newham.
This web site has been created by members of the parish to let you experience for yourself this much-loved church, and meet the Anglican community that worships here.
You've visited the web site, now visit the church!
